I visited the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth today with my mom. This is a view looking out into Fort Worth from inside the museum. Afterwards, we visited the Amon Carter Museum as well. I’m looking forward to visiting both with Sarah soon.

Flow

While searching for information on pasting photographs into Moleskines, I came across a few wonderful videos showcasing Moleskine notebooks of artists. I enjoyed one in particular by Japanese artist Takayashi Yoshinari. In his notebook entitled Flow, he connects each page with flowing lines and shapes.

Michal Levy Animations

Browsing old posts from a previous blog, I came across Michal Levy’s wonderful Giant Steps animation. And then I learned of a new film of Michal’s entitled One (though I’m a year late). I love the idea of visualizing music in terms of colors and shapes. His visual representation of Coltrane’s Giant Steps is amazing, and now I can say the same of his work on One.
