It’s also great to see the iPhone getting some respect as a tool for creating fine art. I photograph with my phone just as much as I do with my LX3 and 40D.

We’ve had the mattress for a long time now, but we’ve been waiting forever for the bed. Today, it finally arrived.

Instead of playing video games, I decided to catch up on some reading / note-taking. I’ve been focusing on the Personal MBA list for a long time now, but am only about a tenth of the way through because I’m constantly grabbing other books outside of the list as well, as seen in this stack of books (only one out of the three is on the list). And of course, books and reading material on software development often come first anyway.

To represent the numerous nights we had people over during the holidays. They were great times, and we’re looking forward to hosting people more often.

Sarah felt like some Buffalo Wild Wings earlier today. I didn’t. We ended up grabbing some late at night after 10pm, when the wings are much cheaper. Good, but Wing Stop is so much better.

During the eating of the wings, I started playing a documentary about Scrabble tournaments: Word Wars. It was pretty good — worth watching if you’re interested in Scrabble at all. My recent addiction with Words With Friends led me this far.

I discovered Words With Friends today on the iPhone and have been playing it practically non-stop. My username is justajot if you have an iPhone, like Scrabble, and want to play against me. Be sure to send me a message!

It’s been cold for the past couple days, and it’s only going to get colder. Because of that, I haven’t been outside much, which explains the stream of photos of the indoors.

I got this mirror and hung it as a gift for Sarah for Christmas. It’s from wrapables.com.

Because I haven’t done too much else lately, other than eating. I probably eat too much of this, but that’s only because it’s delicious.

I spent a lot of time uploading past iPhone work to Flickr today, so I thought it only appropriate to upload an iPhone photograph for my daily photo. I spent a few minutes revising my iPhoneography process. Not that I had one before. But now I do.

I use to do everything straight from CameraBag, but now that I own and use a few other photography apps, I decided today to start using the regular camera app first and then process. For example, this image was made with the Apple camera app first, processed with Best Camera to add the jewel filter, and then ShakeItPhoto to add the polaroid look. Above is the final image

I visited the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth today with my mom. This is a view looking out into Fort Worth from inside the museum. Afterwards, we visited the Amon Carter Museum as well. I’m looking forward to visiting both with Sarah soon.
